Forging is one of the oldest careers which forming the metals with fire is the core in this career. Fire is one of the most important elements in this process.
Normally the metal will be exposed to the fire and after the color of the metal is changed to red, they press it and it will be converted to desired format.
Thereafter in the light of the knowledge progression of the human being, the mold has been used and many technical improvements has been witnessed recently.
There 2 types of forging:
In very high temperature and low pressure the process is done. Forming the metals in high temperatures can be easily done.
In normal temperatures and the utmost forces, metal forming will be done with hammers press.
For cold forging, extrusion of aluminum parts and calibration operations forging products of Mehrtash Sepahan Co. are advised.
Also for hot forging:
Water-based lubricants: graphite water-based lubricants (Synthetic or regular) for steel and aluminum making applications.
Graphite-less lubricants: for aluminum forging and stainless steel products.
Graphite lubricants: Applicable in several cases.
